Three pairs of eyes
- A specialist translator. A native speaker of the target language with experience in your field. They work at a pace of about 2,000 words a day, because accuracy has its own tempo.
- Bilingual editing. A second expert reads the entire text sentence by sentence, comparing it with the source in terms of meaning, terminology, style, and register.
- Quality control. Numbers, tags, formatting, and consistency with the glossary and previous versions. In high-risk texts, a typo in a numerical value isn't a typo; it's a defect.
We adopted this rigorous approach from our collaboration with Crestec, a Japanese documentation company we have been working with continuously for nearly 20 years.
