In May 2026 the Edit Perfectly team took part in Move for Hope, a fundraising challenge organised by Mary's Meals. Between us we covered 351 km on foot and 35 km by bike – 386 km in total, which funded 1,596 school meals for children in Haiti.
The idea is simple: move more, help more.
Between us, we covered:
- 🏃 351 km on foot
- 🚴 35 km by bike
- 🍽️ 1,596 school meals funded
What makes initiatives like this meaningful is the different ways people contribute. Some run. Some cycle. Some simply extend their daily walks.
In my case, part of May was spent in the mountains, continuing my journey with the Korona Gór Polski challenge. Over a few days, I covered 75 km and climbed eight peaks in western Poland.
Those kilometres already had personal value. Knowing they also translated into school meals gave them a different weight.
Mary's Meals works on a simple principle: a daily meal in a place of education brings children into classrooms, where education becomes a path out of poverty.
It's a reminder that small actions scale quickly when they are shared. In total, 386 km helped fund 1,596 meals.
Thank you to everyone who took part, and to Mary's Meals for organising Move for Hope.
Not every impact needs to be large to matter – sometimes it just needs to keep moving.
